# Rate Limits

The default rate limit is **50 API requests/per second** or **3000 API requests/per minute**. If you exceed the rate limit, we return an HTTP response **429: Too Many Requests**.

<Note>The rate limit is applicable per customer. However, we can configure customised limits for customers with specific requirements, and we also support API specific configurations. If you think your usage needs additional threshold, reach out to our customer support team.  </Note>
